Scott M • Piano Instructor
Scott M. began studying piano at the age of 5 and by his high school years, he was actively teaching beginner students in his community and was acting as a Music Director for his local church.
Scott received a degree in Music Education from Olivet Nazarene University where he studied classical piano and pedagogy under published composer and arranger Dr. Karen Ball.
Scott also played clarinet, bass clarinet, French horn, and percussion as a member of the university orchestra, concert band, jazz band, and marching band.
As a student, Scott organized and directed a a variety of student-led chamber music ensembles and was also featured as a vocalist in a variety of musicals and broadway revues.
Scott believes that every student should have a strong foundation in theory and technique so they can be well equipped to explore what inspires them and makes them happy.
