Research has shown that exposure to music has a calming effect on young children. In addition to developing emotional and social skills, music also stimulates creativity and memory in children of all ages. In these classes, children will be encouraged to freely respond to musical stimulation in a safe, comfortable, and fun environment. Games and movement will be combined with carefully chosen age-appropriate songs, rhythms, and rhymes for an enriching experience for both child and parent. In addition, parents will become familiarized with pedagogical elements and creative strategies to achieve gratifying musical experiences in day-to-day life at home.
