George T. is a musician from Glenview, Illinois who graduated from DePaul University in 2020 with a degree in Percussion Performance. He has played in a multitude of genres and styles ranging from jazz drum set to classical percussion and is well-rounded in all areas of percussion. George has studied with teachers from the Chicago Symphony (Cynthia Yeh and David Herbert), San Francisco Symphony (Ed Stephan), Lyric Opera of Chicago (Eric Millstein and Michael Green), Fulcrum Point New Music Project (Ian Ding), and New York Philharmonic (Markus Rhoten). George has also attended the Aspen Music Festival (2019) playing under the direction of notable musicians and conductors like Jonathan Haas and Robert Spano.

 

George currently plays and teaches with many groups and schools around the Chicago area and is currently an Associate Member for the Chicago Civic Orchestra for timpani and percussion.
