Frances K • Piano Instructor

A native of Chicago, Frances began her piano studies at the age of 5. She graduated with honors from the University of Mary earning a degree in music with an emphasis in early childhood education and special education. As a student, she has studied under Rick Ferguson, Michael Langer, Lucas Bernier and Tiantian Liang. Frances regularly performs solo piano repertoire from classical to jazz and accompanies both solo instruments and vocal ensembles at a variety of levels and styles. Frances was a finalist in the Bismarck-Mandan Symphony Orchestra Young Artist Competition in November of 2020 and 2021.

With experience in teaching privately for a variety of ages including adult students, Frances believes music is a means of universal teaching and further brings beauty and peace to a child’s young mind and heart.
