Nicolas W. obtained a Masters Degree in piano from Arizona State University in 2025, where he studied under Caio Pagano.

 

He was initially steered toward the instrument as a child due to a prevailing belief that it would be the most practical choice for learning music theory, and nowadays emphasizes in a similar fashion the importance of a good understanding of theory in developing a tasteful interpretation of the musical piece at hand.

 

It is also his belief that the historical context is essential when considering how to faithfully interpret both the letter and the spirit of a given piece, and he wishes to pass along these and other teachings in order for students to become versatile and adaptable musicians.
