Alin C • Violin/Viola Instructor
Violinist Alin C. is an active performer and educator in the Chicago area with an extensive musical experience that spans over two continents. Originally from Romania, Alin came to the United States in 2007 to pursue his Masters Degree at Northern Illinois University, studying with Mathias Tacke, the second violinist of the world-renown Vermeer String Quartet. Shortly after, Alin joined the Civic Orchestra of Chicago and had the privilege to perform under some of the world-class conductors such as Pierre Boulez, Bernard Haitink, Ricardo Muti, Esa-Pekka Salonen.
Currently Alin is a member of Camerata Chicago, the Chicago Ensemble and has performed with the Elgin Symphony Orchestra. He holds a Bachelor Degree from West University of Timisoara and has toured extensively throughout Europe with the National Opera House of Timisoara.
As an educator, Alin has over 10 years of experience and he has been on the faculty at DePaul Community Music Division and International British School of Chicago until recently when he decided to pursue a long time dream to start a music school of his own.
