Judith Prenzlow • Voice Instructor

‚ÄčJudith Prenzlow, mezzo-soprano, is passionate about helping her students sing in an expressive and sustainable way. With degrees in both vocal music-education and vocal performance, Ms. Prenzlow loves working with students of all ages and challenges her students to build musical skills alongside vocal technique. She believes that healthy singing can be applied across a variety of musical genres, from classical to contemporary, and is eager to help her students achieve their best sound singing their favorite repertoire. Ms. Prenzlow has a strong choral background and currently sings professionally at Chicago’s St. John Cantius Church. A lover of operatic repertoire, she has enjoyed singing roles including Cherubino in Le Nozze di Figaro, Maddalena in Verdi’s Rigoletto, and Agathe in Philip Glass’s Les Enfants Terribles. Ms. Prenzlow is thrilled to have the opportunity to guide singers in their musical journeys at the Northside Music Academy.
