Heather Aikins • Voice Instructor/Early Childhood Music Education

Heather Aikins is relatively new to Chicago.  She received her Bachelor's degree in vocal performance from Ball State University in 2010 and her Master’s in Music from Belmont University in 2013.  She has sung with Nashville Opera Company and Nashville Symphony Chorus.  Her operatic roles include the Countess in Le Nozze di Figaro, Madame Lidoine in Dialogues des Carmelites, and Caterina from L’amico Fritz.  She also premiered the role of Sophia in a concert theatrical by Grammy award winning songwriter, Marcus Hummon.  Heather has a passion for singing and a desire to share it with others.  She strives to give her students the tools to sing with healthy function as well as artistry.  She is thrilled to see students find their unique voice and learn to communicate through music.

Northside Music Academy is providing music lessons for following Chicago neighborhoods: Edgebrook, Wildwood, Sauganash, Forest Glen, Jefferson Park, Mayfair, Norwood Park, Edison Park as well as the suburbs of Skokie IL, Niles IL, Park Ridge IL, Morton Grove IL, Lincolnwood IL.
