Allison Keeport • Voice Instructor
Allison Keeport, soprano, is a voice teacher specializing in helping adult first-time voice students find their voices. Beginning in 2011, Ms. Keeport taught private voice lessons, elementary music, middle school choir, and drama in Budapest, Hungary. Upon returning to Chicago in 2014, Ms. Keeport founded and directed The Community Music School’s Children’s Choir. Ms. Keeport is also an active performer in opera and art song recitals, most recently in the Festiva Concert Series of Greenwood, SC. Past performances with North Park University Opera included Ann in Dominic Argento’s rarely performed The Masque of Angels, scenes from Berstein’s Candide as the Old Lady, Puccini’s La Rondine as Bianca, Monteverdi’s L’Incoronazione di Poppea as Poppea, Weber’s Der Freischütz as Agathe, Copland’s The Tender Land as Laurie, Verdi’s Falstaff as Meg, Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte as the 1st Lady, Cerrone’s All Wounds Bleed as Echo, and Britten’s The Rape of Lucretia as Bianca. She also performed in Massenet’s Cendrillon as the 2nd Spirit and in the understudy cast as Noemie. Ms. Keeport is currently enrolled in the Master of Music in Vocal Performance program at North Park University and is a voice instructor at Northside Music Academy.
